Eugene Mohorev - Petersburger. For a man of culture 'Petersburgian' - not just mark the place of birth or residence. This, above all, belonging to a cultural tradition established by three hundred years ago simultaneously with the stones of the city and just like those stones, continued in spite of all historical collisions. His art is full of reflection, awareness of the immutable cycle of life. Infinitude of the past as the present becomes the aesthetic ideal neoakademizma; philosophy of death as an emanation of life seek for nekrorealizm; allegorical fresco on the earthly vale man directs photographer Eugene Mohorev. His characters do not fill the ceremonial atriums Petersburg's palaces and museums. The habitat of these dolls teenagers, among them children and the life of games determined to be tight-fisted and brutal.
